Quality Inspector

**Job Description**

Aerotek is looking for Quality Inspectors in the Thomaston/Torrington area for an immediate job opportunity. These inspectors will be doing visual inspections on various plastic molded parts such as bowls, cups, and mugs.

JOB DUTIES:

+ Take and follow a work order and work instructions sheet

+ Receive material from water spider/operator

+ Perform visual and dimensional inspection on all parts on the floor, including various medical devices, gears, handles, etc.

+ Use standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges for inspections

+ Assist in other areas when machines are down, including moving material, helping in the lab, pulling parts off a line, and packing

**Skills**

+ Experience with micrometers, calipers, gauges/dial indicators

+ Understanding decimals (tenths, hundredths, thousandths)

+ Blueprint reading is a plus

+ Ability to read and write documents in English
