Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of experience as a Safety Coordinator
  • OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications
  • Experience in the safety procedures regarding Substation, P&C, grounding and conduit
  • 15% travel
  • Bilingual (Spanish)

Preferred

  • Experience creating an apprentice program

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Safety Coordinator to join their team. The Coordinator will be responsible for acting as the front-line safety professional conducting field safety inspections, field observations, field investigations, safety training, and ensuring regulatory compliance for OSHA, DOT, EPA, and customers' safety programs and policies. This person will ensure that the work is performed in compliance with safety guidelines, company policies, and procedures, work standards, various governmental agency regulations, and other related requirements. The position will be remote but must be local to Florida.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Safety Coordinator

OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications

Experience in the safety procedures regarding Substation, P&C, grounding and conduit

15% travel

Bilingual (Spanish) Experience creating an apprentice program null
