Full Job Description

**Job Title: Production Operator**

**Job Description**

The production operator will be tasked with converting sealant and coating product from large drums down to different sized bottles and containers. The drums arrive with the liquid material and are hooked up to a machine, which pumps through a machine tailored to the specific customer request. The operator will hold the 10oz or 12oz (or whatever size) bottle up to the spout, the machine will fill the bottle, the operator will label and package bottles for shipment. Once boxes are filled with bottles, the operator will label the box for proper shipment. The operator's responsibility will be to make sure that the order sheets are accurate to what the machine is producing, labeling neatly, packaging product, and accurate counts of the packaged product. At times, they will add other components to the bag or box the bottles will be shipped in. Individuals can be completing anywhere from 200-400 bottles/day depending on material and size of the bottles. At the end of the shift (2:10 pm), each operator will clean and organize their station so it looks like they were never there. The idea is that when the next person comes into work tomorrow morning the setup of the work station has everything exactly where it should be.

**Work Environment**

Shift: M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm. PPE: Steel Toe Required. The facility is a very clean, climate-controlled environment. Everyone sits or stands at a designated station to perform daily procedures. Individuals are able to have their own radio kept to a noise minimum at their station. The community is very inclusive and values their employees with weekly safety training, anniversary and birthday recognition, and other community service activities. They allow one ear-bud for people that are outside of training. Awareness of hazard code labels; follows approved precautions and procedures. Items in certain departments can be flammable. The facility participates in 5S activities. Complies with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and procedures at all times.
