Qualifications
Required
- Two years security or customer service or military experience, or Associates degree and one year of security or customer service experience, or Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Valid Class D Driver's License and DMV record which meets Fairview Insurability requirements for assignments that require the operation of a motor vehicle
Preferred
- Hospital Security Experience
- Certified Peace Officer (POST)
- Emergency Med Tech Basic (EMT-B)

+ **FTE** : 0.4 (32 hours per pay period)
+ **Shift** : night shift
+ **Weekend Requirement** : Every other weekend
**Benefits:**
+ **Wages** : $25.88/hr (increases with relevant experience)
+ **Shift Differentials** :
+ $3/hr for nights
+ $2/hr for weekends

**Job Summary:**
The security Officer provides for the safety and security of patients, visitors and staff and property by responding to needs of hospital patients, visitors and staff, offering assistance and providing excellent customer service standards. Proactively works to prevent theft and vandalism. May be involved in high risk situations with exposure to potentially dangerous situations which requires range of safety precautions.
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:
