The Nursing Assistant at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center provides basic, direct patient care, taking into account specific needs as related to patient's age. Required

- BLS Certification through American Heart Association

- Effective communication skills and basic math skills
- Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
Preferred
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience
- Successful completion of two Registered Nurse accredited clinical courses
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program
- BLS certification through American Heart Association

Job Overview:

Qualifications:
Required:
+ High School Diploma
+ BLS Certification through American Heart Association only
+ Ability to read, write, and speak English
+ Effective communication skills and basic math skills
+ Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
Preferred:
+ Previous Nursing Assistant experience and/or successful completion of two Registered Nurse accredited clinical courses and/or completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program
Certifications and Licenses:
+ BLS certification through American Heart Association
Scheduling Requirements:
+ Nights 11:00PM - 7:00AM
+ Every other weekend required, schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs
+ Part-Time (22.5 hrs)
+ Week Mandatory Orientation
