Responsibilities
- Conduct engineering calculations, load calculations, equipment selection, energy analysis, psychrometric, controls, fixture loading, pressure loss, ducts sizing, writing specifications.
- Effectively manage time and budget to meet project deliverables and schedules.
- Utilize AutoCAD & Revit to complete drawings.
- Calculate power and lighting loads for new and existing building systems.
- Review local and national codes and perform code analyses.
- Design and life safety (fire alarm) systems.
- Select and design layout of electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, electrical panels, emergency generators, UPS systems, and power distribution systems.
Qualifications
Required
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- 5-8 years of experience in electrical design for building systems
- Experience utilizing AutoCAD MEP + Revit
- Experience doing load calculation
Preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing small-medium size projects
- Effective time and budget management

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in New York, New York.
Work Environment
Office 4 Days a week, remote on Fridays. Team consists of 2 Architects, 6 engineers, Principals, and Admin Staff - about 15-20 members.
