  • Re-evaluates and modifies treatment programs as warranted.
  • Selects appropriate evaluation tool(s) for the purpose of assessment.
  • Provide speech therapy services to children with IEPs.
  • Address areas including articulation, voice, fluency, receptive and expressive language skills, oral motor competence, and dysphagia.
  • Accurate documentation for all patient visits in EMR.
  • Educate patient and family members.
  • Work with interdisciplinary team when indicated for plan of care.

Qualifications

Required

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech and Language from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • New York State license and registration in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • CPR certification.
  • TSSLD Certification.
  • Ability to comply with all regulatory standards.

Preferred

  • Pediatric MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) experience.
  • Pediatric and adult outpatient experience.
  • Infant feeding experience.
  • Passion for and experience in pediatrics.
  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
