Direct Support Professional / DSP

Do meaningful work in your community. Work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential.

**Job Responsibilities for DSPs**

+ 1:1 Care with Individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities

+ You will transport and accompany clients on errands and appointments

+ You will spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities in the community

+ You will assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation

+ You will transport and participate in community based activities with the client

**Qualifications for DSPs:**

+ One year experience working with I/DD individuals; If you do not have this experience, paid training is available

+ High school diploma or equivalent
