The Manager Procurement & Supply Chain Systems at Lumen is responsible for providing critical information to the procurement & supply chain management organization, including business alignment, internal customer information, and analytics. Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach technical teams to deliver actionable data insights for management and operational reporting.

  • Design, develop and implement analytical models using appropriate data mining tools, analyze results and work cross-functionally to generate actionable recommendations.

  • Maintain and drive partnerships with key IT partners in support of data warehousing initiatives.

  • Resolve complex incidents, monitor solutions, and establish standards, procedures and guidelines.
  • Support and maintain existing reports and BI solutions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, IT, or other relevant experience
  • 7 - 10 years experience in an analytical role supporting business departments
  • 3-5 years of progressively responsible managerial experience
  • Prior people management experience, preferably in a Procurement & Supply chain environment
  • Strategic thinking, sound business judgment, problem-solving skills, solid analytical, data and technical capabilities
  • Experience using Web focus, writing queries and reports in SAP, Business Warehouse, SQL, Business Objects, Cognos, etc.
  • Project management experience
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical terms
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across organizational boundaries

Preferred

  • Expert knowledge of data extraction, data mining and analysis tools
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases architecture
  • Experience analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets
  • Expert in using MS Excel, MS Access, and/or other database-driven software to perform complex analysis and reporting
  • Application development knowledge of C#, JavaScript, AJAX, CCS, MVC, HTML, XML, JQuery, Angular, Bootstrap
  • Understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework

**The Role**

Provide the procurement & supply chain management (SCM) organization with the critical information needed to make fact-based decisions, including building a strong business alignment with internal customers and providing key internal customers with information and analytics. Lead staff in gathering business requirements, preparing logical and physical reporting environments, and completing design, coding, testing and implementation of business intelligence reports. Work closely with other Analytics teams and program groups in providing effective reporting solutions. Manage reporting analysts to produce operational reports by supplier, business unit, and commodity; continuously identify processes to automate/eliminate reports by applying business process improvement and process reengineering to report development wherever possible. Required to manage all type of SCM projects for systems and processes.

**Work Location**

This is a fully remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S.

**The Main Responsibilities**

**What We Look For in a Candidate**

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

**$94420 - $125890** in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

**$99390 - $132510** in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

**$104360 - $139140** in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

**$109330 - $145770** in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
