- Job Requirements
- 2 year of pathology assistant experience
- ACLS required for certain RNs
- BLS required for all RNs, OR Techs, Surg Techs, Patient Transporters, Medical Assistants and Phlebotomists except for certain roles
- PALS required for RNs working in specified units
- NRP potentially required for RRTs depending on campus
- CNOR required for OR RNs
- EFM AWHONN required for RNs working L&D every 2 years
- Tech Cert Verification - National required for certain positions
- State License 1 Verification – specific to the role
- IV Certification required for certain roles
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) potentially required
- NIH Stroke Certification necessary for specific units
- Various additional certifications preferred but not mandatory
