    Job Requirements
  • 2 year of pathology assistant experience
  • ACLS required for certain RNs
  • BLS required for all RNs, OR Techs, Surg Techs, Patient Transporters, Medical Assistants and Phlebotomists except for certain roles
  • PALS required for RNs working in specified units
  • NRP potentially required for RRTs depending on campus
  • CNOR required for OR RNs
  • EFM AWHONN required for RNs working L&D every 2 years
  • Tech Cert Verification - National required for certain positions
  • State License 1 Verification – specific to the role
  • IV Certification required for certain roles
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) potentially required
  • NIH Stroke Certification necessary for specific units
  • Various additional certifications preferred but not mandatory
