The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator at US Foods is responsible for creating and tracking purchase orders, ordering and maintaining spare parts inventory, coordinating repairs with outside vendors, and working closely with mechanics and the Fleet Manager to ensure proper completion of work orders.   • Greets all internal/external visitors, vendors, etc., entering the department
  • Answers and screens telephone calls and routes to appropriate departmental staff personnel
  • Drafts, updates, and revises correspondence as requested
  • If designated, assist with setting up appointments for Department Manager/Supervisor
  • Maintains and updates internal systems, databases, spreadsheets, logs, etc.
  • Monitors supply usage within the department and places orders when necessary
  • Maintains conference room calendars and schedules rooms
  • Attends department staff meetings, trainings, etc. as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, i.e., EXCEL, Outlook, Word
