  • Work Saturday if scheduled, with call starting when the team finishes for the day; Sunday is call only.

Shift: Days / 7:15a-5:15p, 10x4, 40 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks

Weekend, Holidays, On-call required

Requirements:

  • Must have intimate knowledge of procedures such as g-tube placement, central line, chemo, etc.
  • ER and Trauma Level I experience
  • Community Hospital and Outpatient experience
  • X-ray, Cardiac Stent Placement experience, G-tube placement, central line, chemo, PACS, Portables, contrast, Xper, Phillips experience
  • BLS, ACLS
  • ARRT required (ARRT advanced preferred)
  • Fluoro Permit preferred
  • Epic experience preferred

Is on-call REQ? Yes - will be on buddy call with their manager for the first few nights of orientation then with the other full-time nurse. Weekend call will start on their first week, then will be on an every-other weekend basis. Call commitment is approximately 33% of the month, which roughly translates to 10-14 shifts per month depending on RTO of the team. Weekday call starts when the team is finished for the day, generally by 17:45 till 07:15 the next morning. Saturday is a workday if scheduled then call starts when the team is finished for the day; Sunday is call only. So typically, if it the individual’s weekend to work/take call, it will be Friday- Sunday (Monday @07:15).
