- Submit prototypes for analytical testing and compile results
- Communicate with suppliers for ingredient requests and information
- Write progress reports
- Maintain and organize laboratory and supplies
- Ensure laboratory safety
Qualifications
Required
- B.S. in Food Science or similar field
- 2+ years of experience
- Ability to provide sensory descriptions of foods and beverages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good record-keeping and organization
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
Preferred
- Experience with ingredient applications, food/beverage formulation
- Experience with flavors and taste
