Cisco UC/Collaboration Architect- Cisco WebEx Calling (WxC)

Client Site: Los Angeles, California - Fully Remote

6-month Contract -to-Hire

Open at Market Rate (option for W2 or INC)

Salary: $160,000 to $200,000 +Benefit Detail

Job Description:

As a Collaboration Architect, you will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing and operating enterprise infrastructure for clients. You will have the opportunity to work with our master architects, engineers, and consultants, to understand our clients’ needs and craft sustainable IT roadmaps to get them there.

Responsibilities:

A Collaboration Architect is responsible for the planning and designing solutions for multi-vendor Unified Collaboration/Voice Solutions.

· Provide assessments, design deployment and implementation services of multi -vendor solutions in a Collaboration environment

· Engage various manufacturer engineering resources for lab access and design assistance

· Assess customer environments and make recommendations

· Serve as a pre-sales resource for sales and engineering

· Act as an escalation point for Engineers and Consultants

o Escalate issues to other team members, as needed

· Meet with key vendors to stay current on products and technologies

· Maintain multiple advanced manufacturer specific advanced certifications.

· Complete additional relevant certifications, as recommended or assigned by supervisor

· Work with Lead Technical Architect and National Engineering Leads to develop standardized assessment, delivery and testing documentation to be used for delivery of repeatable services

· Must be fully knowledgeable and able to design and plan, implement and support IT solutions using two or more of the following technologies:

o Cisco Webex Calling (WxC) Multi-Tenant and Dedicated Instance (DI)

o Cisco Unified Communication Manager, IM & Presence, Unity Connection, Cisco Expressway, Cisco Meeting Server (CMS), Telepresence Management Suite (TMS), CUBE, Voice gateways, Emergency Responder, Cisco TelePresence Server, and Multipoint Control Units (MCUs)

o Knowledge of Protocols like SIP, H323, ISDN, MGCP, WebRTC, RTP, RTCP

Education & Experience:

· 8+ years of voice deployment experience in large complex environments

· Hands-on deployment experience with WebEx Calling (WxC)

· 4-year College degree, preferred

· Multiple industry-recognized certifications. i.e.: CCIE, Collaboration
