Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Prior IE experience in a prototype/production environment.

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of Prototyping and assembly processes.
  • Working knowledge of military ground vehicles.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Visual Basic, Dataview type programs.
  • Experience with PTC Creo, GD&T and data management tools.
  • Experience with EPDM 3-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Understanding of Low Volume, High Mix manufacturing.
  • Formal Six Sigma training with a green belt.

Typically a bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or closely related field and 4+ years relevant experience, such as serving as liaison between engineering entities and prototype fabrication and assembly teams. The selected individual will be a self-starter, highly motivated, and will be expected to proactively pursue production Variances and engineering issues that impact manufacturing, product delivery and overall vehicle sales. Superior communications skills are absolutely essential in this role. The selected individual shall also have the ability to multitask as he/she will be required to control, coordinate, and resolve conflicts for several high-visibility lines of effort, simultaneously. The candidate needs to acknowledge that this position requires flexibility and perpetual attention

Skills Preferred
