  • Ensure supply and delivery of materials.
  • Develop and manage internal and external relationships for sustainable cost, quality, availability, and technology solutions.
  • Partner with a diverse stakeholder base to lead and develop multi-year commodity strategies.
  • Acquire and maintain industry, market, and technical knowledge of commodities.
  • Lead supplier sourcing, selection, and performance management.
  • Negotiate purchasing contracts, statement of works, and pricing for goods and/or services.
  • Drive cost saving opportunities in partnership with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • May develop new supply chain models for new or existing products or services.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or above in sourcing, procurement and supply chain management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in commercial sourcing, vendor management, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Job Description

SCM (Sourcing & Commercial Manager) of Direct materials is responsible for consignment material supply, inventory control, and services for Solidigm SC&P organization. Working on the terms & conditions with suppliers to meet business requirements. Drives and participates in the development of system/process improvement of VMI flow and supplier managements across organizational teams. Owns the negotiation of price, capacity, allocation and business terms with suppliers and ensure supply and delivery.


Develops and manages internal and external relationships to provide sustainable cost, quality, availability and technology solutions while adhering to procurement policies. Partners with a diverse stakeholder base to lead and develop multi-year commodity strategies based on business/market intelligence, long-term analysis of the category/commodity and the supply ecosystem. Acquires and maintains industry, market and technical knowledge of commodities. Leads supplier sourcing, selection and performance management. Negotiates purchasing contracts, statement of works and pricing for goods and/or services. Drives cost saving opportunities in partnership with suppliers and stakeholders to meet business objectives. May develop new supply chain models for new or existing products or services.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in sourcing, procurement and supply chain management, or related field.
  • 10+ years Proven experience of commercial sourcing, vendor management or related filed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $124,990 to $187,490. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
