  • Negotiate, evaluate, and recommend contract awards based on technical, financial, and legal criteria.
  • Administer contracts, including processing claims, assessing variations, and managing potential disputes.
  • Maintain detailed contract administration records and ensure proper documentation of contract changes and decisions.
  • Ensure contracts are executed according to agreed terms, including progress tracking and financial oversight.
  • Provide expert advice on contract law, commercial terms, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate the resolution of claims and disputes, working with legal teams and contractors to reach amicable solutions.
  • Support project teams in adhering to strict project schedules, managing contracts in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Promote and enforce Worley's Zero Harm safety initiatives throughout all contract management processes.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in contracts administration.
  • Experience in the aluminum or resources industry.
  • Proven experience with EPC/EPCM brownfield projects in an industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and commercial agreements.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with the procurement process, tendering, and contractor management in large-scale industrial projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and related tools.
