The Radiation Therapist performs procedures, setups, simulations, and prescribed treatments under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist, Physicist, or Lead Radiation Therapist to provide the highest level of care to Radiation Oncology patients. Qualifications
Required
- Knowledge of radiation therapy.
- Ability to keep neat, accurate records.
- Ability to follow physician's orders.
- Effective interpersonal and patient contact skills.
- Three-year experience preferred as a Certified Radiation Therapist in a physician's office or hospital setting.
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) certification.
- ARRT Certified Radiation Therapy certification.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification.
- Experience with Elekta (equipment) Mosaiq (EMR).
Preferred
- Experience with Elekta Linear Accelerator.
- Experience with Accuray Radixact (Tomo).
