DINING SERVICES MANAGER | FULL TIME In the role of Dining Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing the dining staff and overseeing front-of-the-house dining operations, with the goal of creating an exceptional dining experience for all patrons served at Academy Mapleton Hill (AMH).

Responsibilities The specific duties and extent of responsibility of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist with development of policies and procedures regarding operation of the dining room
- Recruit, train and manage and schedule a quality team of dining staff with appropriate skill sets to facilitate the operation of an efficient, high quality dining room in the serving of the community's meals
- Develop and maintain efficient front-of-house systems to manage the ordering and delivery of all required items such as glassware, plateware, table linens/settings, and uniforms to satisfy the needs of the dining room
- Execute, maintain, and improve a scheduled inventory of alcohol, dry goods, and other dining-related products for review
- Implement and maintain efficient meal reservation and POS systems to facilitate a superior customer experience, while providing optimal reporting tools
- Implement and maintain appropriate hygiene policies for dining operations and examining equipment and tableware for cleanliness
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef on a continual basis to ensure the kitchen and dining room teams are synchronized to provide a quality dining experience
- Ensure the dining staff is trained to provide friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service to all dining patrons
- Solicit feedback from residents and the Leadership Team regarding their satisfaction with the entire dining experience, including the addressing of concerns
- Provide dining support for auxiliary spaces such as the bar, as well as for special meetings, gatherings and events conducted at AMH
- Manage the department within the financial boundaries of the annual operating budget, seeking required approvals if significant deviations are required
- Manage all employees in accordance with AMH policies and standards, including the maintaining of all required employee performance records and conducting of periodic employee performance reviews, culminating with a formal annual review
- Protect residents' rights, records, and privacy as required by federal, state and local regulations
Qualifications - Fluency in English with effective verbal and written communication
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office; must include Word and Excel.
- Empathy toward the elderly and to geriatric issues and challenges
Education and Experience - College associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field
- Extensive experience in restaurants, with the ability to execute and train high-end dining standards
Salary Description
$70,000 - $90,000
