  • Assists in performing evaluation for residents to determine level of care and services.
  • Participates in monthly ECC & LNS meeting with Director of Resident Services and Corporate Director of Nursing.
  • Ensures medication orders are accurate on the MORS.
  • Assists in reviewing and investigating all incidents reports and recommends appropriate action/follow up to the Executive Director.
  • Conducts cart audits ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Prepares 1823 forms for new residents, and updates / keeps current 1823 forms for existing residents.
  • Reviews resident charts and properly files old/outdated records and information.
  • Sets up new admission charts.
  • Prepares staff schedules and posts/makes available in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Florida Nursing License or Medical Technician Certification
  • Knowledge of word processing software, electronic medical records

Summary: Enhances and improves the SRIM experience specifically in Heartful Care for our residents and their families, demonstrates and promotes SRIM's core value of the Golden Rule accepts management responsibilities of the Nursing Department in absence of the director of resident services, and assists in managing the care of all residents by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees in the Resident Services and Nursing Departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Computer Skills:
