\n+ Review and analyze event work orders to meet service needs of each event. Plan, direct, and execute effective workflow in a timely safe manner. Inspect event schematics to ensure proper set up and safety.
\n
\n+ Trains and supervises operational staff and changeover crew that consist of full-time employees and third-party service providers. Appraises work performance; rewards and disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves conflicts.
\n
\n+ Coordinates efficient and safe delivery/removal of waste dumpsters.
\n
\n+ Organize and maintain tools/equipment such as lifts, floor scrubbers, carts, and staging gear
\n
\n+ Order all necessary supplies and materials by keeping track of inventory.
\n
\n+ Coordinate needed equipment with other departments.
\n
\n+ Report irregularities, discrepancies, damage or loss of property or any other safety concerns to Department Management
\n
\n+ Promote a safe working environment for all employees by following the life safety and emergency program as needed
\n
\n+ Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively with other departments.
\n
\n+ Anticipate problems and appropriate solutions.
\n
\n+ Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to operations crew and management
\n
\n+ Work effectively with other building departments
\n
\n+ Perform other duties as assigned
\n
\nQUALIFICATIONS
\n
\n+ A minimum of two (2) years' experience performing building changeovers in an entertainment facility with a demanding schedule along with one (1) year supervisory experience
\n
\n+ High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
\n
\n+ Forklift and Aerial Lift experience required
\n
\n+ Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
\n
\n+ Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment
\n
\n+ Excellent organization and communication skills; Intermediate to advanced computer skills
\n
\n+ Skilled at effectively supervising staff
\n
\n+ Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic
\n
\n+ Skilled at working independently to make decisions that benefit the company
\n
\n+ Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours as needed
\n

\n+ Climbing staircases multiple times per day on event days. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

\n+ Position requires physical ability to move about large facilities, including being on feet and walking for prolonged periods, bending, crouching, reaching, kneeling, crawl, grabbing and/or standing up to and over 8 plus hours during shift
\n
\n+ Will work both indoors and outdoors as required by the function. This position may need to perform work in high areas.

\n+ Position requires working extended hours, flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedule.
