The Project Manager at Top Quality Recruitment (TQR) will be responsible for managing a Project team, driving project performance, resource planning, staffing, risk management, and communication. Responsibilities

  • Manage print production activity and coordinate with account service to provide outstanding support for the customer, account service, sales, and manufacturing teams.
  • Manage a significant percentage of the company’s business at any given time by planning and supervising each stage of a job to successful completion.
  • Serve as customer advocate on all phases of projects, including planning, scheduling, and quality assurance.
  • Manage multiple request types ranging from manufacturing requirements, status updates, workflow updates and customer inquiries.
  • Organize projects to be produced efficiently and within budget, investigate and recommend strategies or modifications to enhance quality, functionality, and production efficiencies.
  • Review purchase orders, proposals and job specifications for pricing, timing, special considerations, and final delivery information.
  • Prepare required documentation for all phases of a job, including but not limited to manufacturing job tickets, purchase orders, cost reports, billing, alterations, and status trackers.
  • Review all incoming and outgoing proofs, checking for content, color, and production specifications.
  • Identify and contract with vendors to procure products and services, confirming estimates are within budget and ensuring finished products meet or exceed quality and budget standards.

Qualifications

Required

  • College education or a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in print production or a related setting.
  • Prior experience with Pre-Press, Pressroom and Bindery.
  • Understanding of print and design principles and good working knowledge of the end-to-end process.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
