Qualifications

Required

  • At least five (5) years of progressively responsible work in enterprise architecture, infrastructure, or application development.
  • Experience as an Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Preferred

  • Strong understanding of information technology in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple service providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in application and technology modernization.
  • Expertise in automation tools, scripting, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools.
  • Experience with data conversion and migration using various databases.
  • Familiarity with storage technologies and service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience with public and private cloud services.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture best practices, user authentication methods, and security best practices.
  • Proficiency in gathering data and writing SQL queries, procedures, and custom dashboards using BI tools.
  • Solid understanding of VPC configurations, route tables, and networking within cloud environments.
  • Experience with automation and repository tools.
  • Knowledge of clinical and business applications (e.g., Epic, Hyland OnBase, Citrix, ServiceNow) is preferred.

Diversified Service Network is looking to hire an Enterprise Application Architect to work remotely for one of our client based out of Raleigh, NC


Job Description:

The Enterprise Application Architect is a critical member of the Applications Technology Team, responsible for establishing and managing both long-term and short-term application strategies, processes, and procedures for enterprise applications and associated infrastructure. The application portfolio includes clinical, administrative, business, financial applications, internet, and intranet systems.

The architect will participate in application design, implementation, and modernization initiatives. This role requires analyzing application activities, making recommendations for improvements, translating organizational business and clinical needs into technology requirements, and proposing appropriate technologies to help the enterprise meet strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of enterprise servers, storage, virtualization, cloud platforms, and networking technologies commonly deployed in modern enterprise data centers or cloud environments.

Additionally, the architect serves as a liaison to team members on product and application issues, provides expert system knowledge, and mentors and coaches team members regarding technical and system integration.

  • Experience with data conversion and migration using SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with storage technologies (SAN, NAS) and service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience with public and private cloud services, including cloud-native tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS EC2.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture best practices, user authentication methods, and security best practices.
  • Proficiency in gathering data and writing SQL queries, procedures, and custom dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Business Objects).
