Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role will focus on ensuring the reliability and uptime of our production equipment, analyzing performance, and implementing best practices to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will collaborate with maintenance and production teams to achieve reliability goals and support ongoing engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Reliability: Monitor and analyze equipment behavior, identifying trends and implementing preventive measures to enhance reliability and minimize downtime.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and enforce a comprehensive preventive maintenance program, including predictive maintenance initiatives such as lubrication and filters replacement.
• Shutdown Planning: Plan and coordinate all planned shutdowns, including preventative maintenance and seasonal outages, in collaboration with maintenance planners.
• Data Management: Collect and analyze performance data to report on the effectiveness of the preventive maintenance program and make recommendations for improvements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with plant inspectors, oilers, and the maintenance department to troubleshoot equipment issues and prioritize action plans for repeat failures.
• CMMS Implementation: Champion the implementation and management of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to streamline maintenance operations.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with corporate policies, environmental regulations, and safety standards throughout all operations.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to maintenance personnel, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency while overseeing team performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of progressive experience in a heavy industrial environment; experience in the cement industry is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
• Experience with CMMS software and a good understanding of maintenance management practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage all levels of personnel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and be available for on-call duties as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk long distances, climb ladders and stairs, and navigate uneven surfaces.
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures.
• Capable of driving to various work locations as required.
