  • Ability to assess patient's level of effort and motivation.
  • Ability to be clinically astute, responsible, and able to take initiative.
  • Ability to be mathematically inclined.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to be objective and responsible for the patient's safety.

Preferred

  • Master's degree.
  • Certified Specialist in Psychometry (CSP).

**Overview**

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is a 336 bed non-profit facility providing quality health care to patients and communities in and around Seattle Washington. We are part of CommonSpirit Health which operates 139 hospitals and more than 1,000 care sites across 21 states, making our services accessible to nearly 1 in 4 U.S. residents.

**Responsibilities**

Psychometrists administer and score neuropsychological and psychological tests under the supervision of a licensed neuropsychologist in a clinical/research setting of adult outpatients. Populations include but are not limited to adults with suspected cognitive deficits, MCI, neurological conditions (PD), age-related conditions such as dementias, and ADD/ADHD. Assessments are either full-day or less depending on the referral situation and condition of the patient. This position provides diagnostic data regarding patients to psychologists and neuropsychologists, as well as provides this information to referrals from the community at large.

Bachelors of Arts or Bach. Of Science with specific college coursework in psychology with an emphasis in assessment. Master's degree preferred

Certified Specialist in Psychometry (CSP) preferred.
