**Job Description**
+ Under the direction of the Manager, performs a wide variety of duties to provide diagnostic Radiologic services to hospital patients, both in-patient and out-patient, in accordance with physicians orders.
**Qualifications**
**EDUCATION:**
+ Graduation from an AHA approved school of Radiologic technology.
+ Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
+ Must be licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health/Radiation Control Program.
+ CPR certification required.
**EXPERIENCE:**
+ Requires two years directly related student experience to become proficient in all duties performed
**SKILLS/ABILITIES:**
+ Ability to manage physically aggressive patients
+ Ability to transport patients from wheelchair or patient slide board to table
+ Ability to move portable x-ray machine to examination site
+ Ability to lift 30-35 pounds with assistance using good mechanical body position
+ Ability to wear protective lead aprons and lead gloves during examinations
+ Ability to perform tasks for a long period of time, i.e. special procedures
+ Manual dexterity to operate radiographic equipment
