  • Organize patient data into the formulation of a plan of care, identify additional information needed and make care decisions based on identified needs.
  • Identify expected patient outcomes and carry out plan of care to achieve desired patient outcomes.
  • Provide patient care that is specific to the setting, identified needs and plan.
  • Ensure that the care provided is appropriate to the severity of the disease, condition, impairment or disability.
  • Oversee ancillary activities and support team members.
  • Provide the resources necessary for educating patients.
  • Communicate issues/concerns to the Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager and/or physician as appropriate.
  • Document patient care and concerns in the patient record.

Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of a nursing program
  • New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
  • BLS certification required

Preferred

  • Bachelors degree
  • Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
  • Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
