- Works with clients to develop and implement an individualized and integrated Supported Employment Service Plan.
- Familiar with Supported Employment/Supported Education practices, social service resources, area employers, job development, workforce development, community outreach, and wrap around services.

- Valid driver’s license
- Personal vehicle and proof of insurance (mileage reimbursed)
- FBI, Child Abuse, and State Police Clearances
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- ACRE certification
Full Job Description
The YWCA Greater Harrisburg is seeking an innovative and energetic individual to fill our full-time Supported Employment Specialist role.
This position assists individuals with mental illness and other complex barriers to secure meaningful (competitive) employment and educational opportunities in compliance with specific time-related grant requirements.
Position Details:
- Hours 8am to 4pm, Monday - Friday
- Pay is $18.31/hr.
- Candidate will need to provide guidance and support to all program participants with obtaining their goals and assist with eliminating significant barriers.
- Will work with clients to develop and implement an individualized and integrated Supported Employment Service Plan.
- Should be familiar with Supported Employment/Supported Education practices, social service resources, area employers, job development, workforce development, community outreach, and wrap around services.
