Qualifications

Required

  • An active valid Massachusetts RN license
  • An active American Health Association BLS certification
  • At least 1 year of direct care nursing experience, preferably in public health or home care nursing
  • OASIS and/or EPIC experience is preferred

Preferred

  • Associate’s Degree or BSN (preferred) from an accredited school of nursing

Beth Israel Lahey Health at Home is looking for RNs who want to join our Home Health team! Here at BILHAH, we keep our travel territories small to ensure that patient care comes first. We are offering Monday through Friday day shifts for the following territories:

Danvers, MA and surrounding towns
Woburn, MA and surrounding towns
Watertown, MA and surrounding towns

Job Description:

What You’ll Do:
The registered nurse plans, organizes and directs home care services and has experience in nursing with emphasis on community health education. The professional nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of patients and families within their homes and communities in accordance with home care regulations and payer guidelines.
More Specifically:
  • Complete and document an initial assessment of patient and family to determine home care needs;
  • Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change;
  • Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician;
  • Instruct, supervise, and evaluate the home health aide care provided every two (2) weeks;

What You’ll Need:
