The Construction Assistant Project Manager at Keller Brothers, Inc. is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating daily construction management activities. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with ensuring the timely processing and execution of all Project Reporting including Request for Information Logs, Submittal Logs, Task Tracking Logs, Change Management Logs, Progress Reports, Meeting Minutes, and various other Project specific documentation tracking tools
  • Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and presentations, contract packages, budgets, research, correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, change orders, closeout documents, invoices, billings, etc. as necessary
  • Prepare the Bi-Weekly Owner’s Progress Meeting Project Status Reports
  • Participate in weekly Trade / Subcontractor Coordination Meetings as necessary
  • Ensure compliance of work with the contract documents, project schedules, and specifications
  • Resolve scope of work disputes and track field time relative to change management
  • Ensure that duties assigned to others are being completed and examined for exactness, neatness, and conformance to the company’s policies and procedures
  • Review and update work activity reports provided by the Superintendent
  • Aid in business development and client relations by keeping the Project Site clean, safe and organized
  • Review project budget and timeframe with the Project Manager
  • Provide input on new and innovative ways to approach the needs of the company
  • Understand client needs and achieve an acceptable level of satisfaction
  • Study and present standardization ideas to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the company
  • Provide financial assistance as directed by the Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with planning, directing, and coordinating, daily construction management activities.??This position may function from the main office and/or at a project site and is held accountable to the following Core Competencies:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with the following:

  • Ensuring the timely processing and execution of all Project Reporting including Request for Information Logs, Submittal Logs, Task Tracking Logs, Change Management Logs, Progress Reports, Meeting Minutes, and various other Project specific documentation tracking tools
