We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Operator/Programmer to join our team.   • Create part files using BobCam CNC software.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for parts and tool components, ensuring accuracy and adherence to designs.
  • Maintain quality control by verifying machined parts' dimensions, tolerances, and conformance to specifications.
  • Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, wire EDM, milling machines, radial drill presses, and grinders.
  • Ensure tooling is set up for initial production runs and provide assistance to the production team when needed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair dies, replace parts, and perform modifications in collaboration with engineering support.
  • Dismantle dies for repair or replacement independently and ensure parts work to tolerances as tight as .001 inch.
  • Maintain a safe, organized work environment by following safety protocols, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
  • Continuously advocate for process improvement, creativity, and problem-solving within the team.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 4+ years’ experience as a tool maker, specializing in a variety of metal parts.
  • Deep understanding of blueprint reading, tool design, and CAD experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to program CNC G-code and experience with BobCam CNC software.
  • Experience with compression molding, stamping dies, and working to tight tolerances.
  • Strong mechanical background with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Able to verify dimensions, clearances, and alignment with precision.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to promote a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a manufacturing or tool-making environment, ideally with CNC operations.

Preferred

  • Spanish language proficiency.
