Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program
  • One to three years of nursing experience
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree
  • LT PAC nursing experience
  • One year of supervisory experience

Assists in problems solving to help alleviate clinical issues and processes on the assigned unit. Act as the clinical resource person, working as a team with the nurse manager, staff and the provider to identify the plan of care for each patient. Supports nurse manager in developing work plans that enable the unit to reach financial/quality/safety/operational targets.
