As demand for our quality services rises, we are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our Maintenance team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our Maintenance team at Bonland. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for a diverse range of maintenance and repair tasks including machinery, equipment, HVAC systems, and more. This role involves ensuring that all company facilities and equipment are in optimal working condition through scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Machinery and Equipment Maintenance: Repair, modify, and maintain machinery, equipment, HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and fixtures according to blueprints, manuals, and building codes.

· Inspection and Repair: Inspect machinery and mechanical equipment for defects, dismantle machines or equipment to identify and fix defective parts, and clean and lubricate various machine components.

· Preventative Maintenance: Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for plant machinery and equipment. Repair and maintain hand tools used on job sites.

· Plumbing and Electrical Work: Repair or replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, plumbing equipment, and open clogged drains. Install and repair electrical equipment and wiring.

· General Maintenance: Paint walls, floors, woodwork, and fixtures. Replace and repair brick and plaster walls. Operate gas MIG or arc welding equipment for metal repairs.

· Vehicle Maintenance: Diagnose and repair issues with cars, trucks, and forklifts.

· Field Service: Perform field service work as required and support all three branches as needed.

· Supervisory Duties: Assume the responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor in their absence.

· Safety and Reporting: Always work in a safe manner and report any unusual conditions or problems to the supervisor.

· Additional Duties: Perform other similar and related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

· Valid driver’s license required, with a motor vehicle record meeting Bonland’s Approved Driver Criteria.

· Proven experience in maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform diverse maintenance tasks.

· Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to maintenance work.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including welding equipment.
