Will-Mor Manufacturing is seeking both Mill and Lathe Machinists for their 1st and 2nd shifts. The company specializes in precision CNC manufacturing for the defense and aerospace industries. The role involves setting up and operating CNC Vertical & Horizontal Mills, CNC Turning, and Manual Turning, ensuring part conformance, and maintaining machine functionality.
Responsibilities
- Setup/Operate CNC Vertical & Horizontal Mills 4 Axis with palletizing.
- Setup/Operate CNC Turning and Manual Turning.
- Load fixture in the machine with blank parts to be machined or a machined part for one of the part-specific operations which would be noted on the job router.
- Utilize measuring devices to accurately measure part characteristics to ensure they meet part conformance requirements, and document measurements on inspection documents.
- Seek supervisory help if the machine fails, or measurements get completely outside limits.
- Document on router production, quality & scrap counts daily.
- Check to make sure Coolant or Oil levels are at proper function levels.
Qualifications
Required
- CNC machining experience, preferably with CNC Turning Center up to 12 Turrets. CNC Mill Machines.
- Defense and Aerospace Industry experience
- Ability to read GD&T Code
- Ability to use all measuring tools.
Preferred
- AS9100 Experience
