The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is responsible for delivering procedural anesthesia care as part of a team under the supervision of an anesthesiologist.   • Record all medication administered to the patient and related reaction and responses

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • 1 Year experience in critical care nursing as part of successful completion of CRNA program
  • RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License
  • CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Preferred

  • 2 Years experience in an academic medical center OR as a CRNA

Patients per day/Volumes/Types:

Approx 2-5 cases per day, GI could be up to 12 per day

Common types of cases: vascular, cysto, urology, GI, etc. Some trauma possible

Spinals - some but if provider is not comfortable, they have other staff members that can do them

Hours: M-F only, 7a-5:30p (10’s) and 7a-7:30p (12’s). Highest need days are M/W/F. Provider will need to commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per week, full time availability preferred. Contract length 13 weeks with likelihood of extension.

No call, no nights, no weekends, no holidays

Requirements:
