The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is responsible for delivering procedural anesthesia care as part of a team under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. Monitor and record the patient's vital signs
Record all medication administered to the patient and related reaction and responses

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
1 Year experience in critical care nursing as part of successful completion of CRNA program
RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License
CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
BLS - Basic Life Support
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Preferred

2 Years experience in an academic medical center OR as a CRNA

Patients per day/Volumes/Types:

Approx 2-5 cases per day, GI could be up to 12 per day

Common types of cases: vascular, cysto, urology, GI, etc. Some trauma possible

Spinals - some but if provider is not comfortable, they have other staff members that can do them

Hours: M-F only, 7a-5:30p (10’s) and 7a-7:30p (12’s). Highest need days are M/W/F. Provider will need to commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per week, full time availability preferred. Contract length 13 weeks with likelihood of extension.

No call, no nights, no weekends, no holidays

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree: Nursing (Required)

Experience:

1 Year experience in critical care nursing as part of successful completion of CRNA program (Required)

License/Certifications:

RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
