Director / VP of Facilities in Property Management

We seek a Traveling Director of Facilities to join our team! Our property management company owns and develops several MANUFACTURED HOME apartment communities around the country. This position is REMOTE OUT OF Florida. The position is remote, with 25-50% travel to our apartment communities located in 15 states in the Southeast.

MODERATE TRAVEL REQUIRED! MANAGE WATER AND WASTE SYSTEMS IN MULTI-FAMILY APARTMENT HOUSING REQUIRED. THE POSITION IS VERY ANALYTICAL... INCLUDING SURVEYS, HISTORICAL MAPS, PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE, MUNICIPALITIES, AND BEING VERY TECH-SAVVY.

You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation for our Multi-family division.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily project operations, including scheduling and coordinating material, tools, equipment, safety accessories, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
