Who We Are:

Public Surplus works with Government agencies to help them sell their surplus equipment on our website via online auctions at www.publicsurplus.com. We have been in business for 25 years and just had our best year financially.

We are looking to build a team of part-time employee team members that are willing to work hard, are looking for a remote, work from home position with a flexible schedule and want to make good money while maintaining a work/life balance.

These positions are average 4 hours per day and you set your own schedule during business hours. Your schedule can be the hours that work best for you – for example 8-Noon, 9-1:00, 10-2:00, Noon-4:00, etc.

Type of people we are looking to hire:

  • Somebody that wants to stay with a company for a long time.

  • People who are looking for an opportunity with a Company that has a reputation for providing superior products and services that reduce customer's costs.

  • Ability to make daily calls with to promote Public Surplus.

  • 2+ years in sales experience, door to door or phone sales a plus, but not required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Computer savvy and ability to learn our proprietary software.

To be successful in this role, the Sales Rep will need the following skills:

  • Ability to balance work load and tasks, communicate effectively with team members to reliably implement assignments within deadline

  • A high degree of independence

  • A home office free of familial distraction and is able to work hard in a work from home environment

Benefits of this role:
