  • Keep the Director informed of any necessary information regarding the care and safety of children
  • Use time wisely and take initiative when appropriate
  • Follow procedures and policies as stated in the handbook and employee manual
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and model understanding of philosophy including our curriculum
  • Be a supportive and contributing member of the team
  • Demonstrate initiative in decision-making, i.e. transitions, classroom management, and crisis management
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
  • Meet all deadlines

Qualifications

Required

  • 1-2 years of experience in taking care of children ages 0-6 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Meets education criteria required by the state

Preferred

  • 24 units of ECE or CDA preferred

At Building Kidz Hillsborough Preschool and Childcare Center, our goal is to help develop each child holistically. Our curriculum integrates the arts into our age-appropriate development standards through classes and theater-style productions. We provide specialized education in the Performing Arts, and our teachers take pride in encouraging students to strive for excellence in academics and the arts.

We are actively searching for motivated and enthusiastic Teachers to join our team in providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment for children.
