  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and adjust or repair a variety of equipment such as furnace lines, mills, drills, material handling equipment, welding equipment and presses involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical functions and systems. Verify that equipment functions as intended.
  • Disassemble equipment as required, inspect and repair or replace damaged/defective components such as bearing chains, gear trains, shafts, clutches, pumps, motors, spindles, belts, hoses and controls under direction, as necessary based on job complexity.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities, check equipment function and operation and recommend required maintenance action.
  • Notify Maintenance Supervisor to reorder repair parts as needed.
  • Perform repair and fabrication operations as required.
  • Install and/or assist in the installation of equipment.
  • Perform and document safety inspections as scheduled.
  • Document print/procedure changes as required.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as apparent and/or assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
