Qualifications

Required

  • 1+ years of experience processing medical, dental, prescription or mental health claims is a plus.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience OR experience in a medical office, health care, call-Center or office setting analyzing and solving customer problems.
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport, and respond to customers in a compassionate manner.
  • Proficient in translating health care-related jargon and complex processes into simple, step-by-step instructions customers can understand and act upon.
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced and developing environment.
  • Thrives in an environment working independently, but also collaboratively.
  • Professional phone skills required.

Client Services Representative needed for a company in Foothill Ranch that provides medical insurance services to medical providers, clients and patients.

Temporary to hire position. Pay is $20-23/hr, depending on experience plus a competitive employee benefits package. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

(Please note: Company may decide to change the schedule later in the future to working one weekend every 5 weeks. If this is the case, employee will have the Wednesday off before the weekend and the Tuesday off following the weekend)

In the Client Service Representative position, you will be responsible for assisting clients over the telephone and via email regarding live medical cases as well as providing referrals to clinics and hospitals. Opening medical and non-medical cases in our claims system, responding to general inquiries related to open cases, and assisting clients with their claim status questions.

  • Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport, and respond to customers in a compassionate manner.
  • Proficient in translating health care-related jargon and complex processes into simple, step-by-step instructions customers can understand and act upon.
