QA & Business Analyst

Role: Sightline Systems is a technology company located in Fairfax, VA that specializes in IT performance monitoring and analytics software. We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst to help us grow. This person will support our business strategy across a wide range of business functions including product delivery, customer support, and quality assurance testing. Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering, Analysis, and Documentation
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle as a requirements owner
• Help to create and maintain product documentation
• Create and maintain test cases for use during regression tests
• Perform manual regression testing prior to each new release
• Support product implementation for customers
• This role will report to the Head of Product Development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information technology, or computer science.
• 2+ years of work experience as a Business Analyst in a software development organization
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Solid understanding of the software development process, tools, and technology
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills and technology
• Experience with Atlassian Products (JIRA, Confluence) or similar system is a plus
• Fluency in English (written and oral)
• Experience contributing to a team
• Able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
