The Territory Account Manager at Advanced Recreational Concepts is a home-based position responsible for generating sales of park and playground equipment within an assigned territory through relationship building, demonstrating exemplary presentation, negotiation, and closing skills, and developing new client accounts as well as maintaining and cultivating existing clients. This role requires a minimum of 3-5 years of proven territory management and outside sales skills.
Home based position includes salary, commissions, and expenses. Industry leading playground design-build firm has a rare territory open for a top career-oriented salesperson in the Jacksonville and surrounding area of Florida. Previous playground and recreation experience is preferred, but not required. We create playground environments for children at schools, parks, daycare, housing and other public facilities, while offering a full complement of related park products and services. We deal mostly with parks planners, landscape architects, school maintenance staff, parent groups and community organizations to create outstanding proposals, with unequaled customer service and customer dedication, based on strong relationships and follow through on commitments. Territory includes Jacksonville and surrounding counties and requires 8-10 outside sales calls per week. Strong prospecting skills are also needed to be successful and to meet established quotas. You should be comfortable making presentations in front of small groups, be technically and mechanically oriented, extremely organized to handle dozens of projects at once, yet still find the time to look for new business and defend existing business. Minimum 3-5 years of proven territory management and outside sales skills are required.
JOB SUMMARY: This position is home based and responsible for generating sales of products in an assigned territory through relationship building and by demonstrating exemplary presentation, negotiation and closing skills. The Regional Business Development Representative develops new client accounts as well as maintains and cultivates existing clients.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions):
Develop new clients within assigned territory using various methods including, but not limited to, cold calling, attending trade shows, face-to-face meetings and direct marketing.
Work with existing clients and contacts to develop new business and cultivate existing business relationships.
Collaborate with other departments i.e. project management and engineering to ensure a positive customer service experience and client satisfaction.
Track, measure and analyze personal performance through the company’s contact management tool.
Prepare and present proposals to customers.
Perform various administrative tasks i.e. conceptual drawing requests
