2nd Shift Maintenance Technician up to $30/hr. plus 10% shift diff.!!

An internationally recognized packaging label solutions company is seeking a maintenance technician to join their team in the Charlotte, NC area. The Maintenance technician is responsible for assisting the maintenance supervisor with the safety, quality, and cost-effective maintenance of the facilities and equipment. The maintenance technician performs highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment safely.

Salary: $25-$30/hr.

Shift Hours and amount of OT:

• 2nd Shift - 4pm to 2am (4-day work week / Mon-Thurs)
• 10% Shift differential
• O.T. available (Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment
• Performs duties including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines
• Supports an optimized production environment by applying the principles of Lean Manufacturing and 5S
• Responsible for maintaining and performing repairs to the facility
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills (required). Previous experience working on printing presses a plus but not required.
• Ability to interpret schematics, read diagrams, and troubleshoot equipment (required)
• Trade school, electrical certifications, or military applicable training (preferred)
