Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Construction Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the DMV area (Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia). This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth by leveraging their extensive construction network and sales expertise. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the construction industry, specifically in selling electrical services, structural steel, welding services, and site work projects. Strong business development skills and the ability to close high-commission sales are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals within the construction industry, with a focus on electrical services, structural steel, welding, and site work projects.
- Build, maintain, and grow strong client relationships through consistent communication, relationship management, and networking in the DMV area.
- Leverage existing industry connections and develop new partnerships to expand the sales pipeline.
- Actively lead business development initiatives, identifying new project opportunities and closing high-commission deals.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to exceed targets and maximize revenue.
- Conduct regular outside sales visits, presentations, and negotiations with potential clients and decision-makers.
- Utilize CRM software (Salesforce or similar) to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and monitor key performance metrics.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to provide actionable insights that drive improved performance.
- Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with operations and project management teams to meet client expectations and ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction sales, specifically with electrical services, structural steel, welding, and site work projects.
- Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, resulting in high-commission sales.
- Extensive network within the construction industry, particularly in the DMV area.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive a high-performing sales team.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms to effectively track and manage sales activities.
