Quality Control Specialist

Growing label company is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist. In this role, you’ll be responsible for checking all graphics, dimensions and documentation prior to jobs entering production as well as handling First Article Inspections as required. This position can be Part-Time or Full-Time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual and critical dimensions on all finished labels to ensure conformance
• Check all graphics, text and dimensions during the proofing phase to ensure that they match customer requirements/drawings.
• Work with the Graphics Department of any changes required.
• Ensure films are correct and accurate before going into production.
• Handle any quality issues and work with management/department supervisors to prevent them in the future
• Handle all First Article Inspections (FAIs)/Government Source Inspection and submit documentation to customers
• Keep records for all FAIs and material certifications; digitally and hard copies
• Handle all customer inquiries for Material Certifications and documentation
• Complete customer quality audits and surveys

Requirements:

• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Work collaboratively with multiple departments
• Experience in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to use a Caliper/Ruler for measurements
