The Maintenance Technician at CEO Inc. is responsible for making repairs, modifications, installations, testing, and calibration of assemblies and systems on the manufacturing floor. This role involves troubleshooting PLCs, installing and improving the efficacy of production machines, and performing preventative maintenance and calibration. Responsibilities

  • Makes repairs, modifications, installations, testing, and calibration of assemblies and systems on the manufacturing floor.
  • Troubleshoot PLC
  • Installs, inspects, troubleshoots, and improves the efficacy of production machines.
  • Discusses malfunctions and machine operation variations with operators, supervisors, and other maintenance team members to diagnose problems and repair machines.
  • Participates in electrical, electronic, mechanical, and instrumentation trouble shooting.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment, examines defective parts to detect imperfections and install new or repaired parts.
  • Trouble shoots and repairs bearings, seals, hydraulics, pneumatics, and clutches.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and calibration using applicable SOP and work instructions.
  • Works in a safe manner and proactively addresses safety issues.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have PLC troubleshooting experience.
  • Must be able to read and write ladder logic
  • Demonstrates ability to operate machines, hand-tools and electrical equipment.
  • Possesses an operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Demonstrates ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, diagrams, work orders including schematics, print symbols, structure, and flow of print.
  • Possesses experience with drives, including install and setups.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills with practical, mechanical, and electrical aptitude.
  • Possesses basic troubleshooting experience and proven skills in machine repair, gear boxes, and a variety of pumps
  • Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and work well in a team.

Preferred

  • Welding, machining and fabrication experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software
