General Maintenance Mechanic
Role: Compliance Management System Participant
Responsibility: Provide role model leadership in support of achieving compliance initiatives
Schedule: Monday- Friday 6am-2:30pm
Duty (on call) will be discussed in the interview.

Expectations:
  • Know and follow the laws, policies, procedures and standards that apply to your job. Always review safety equipment needed including PPE before starting any job.
  • Attend, complete and actively participate in all required training timely and assist in training others as needed.
  • Make the right choices every day. Ask for help if the right choices aren’t clear.
  • Raise issues and concerns through your supervision.
  • Continuously exhibit personal behavior that is consistent with Auriga values and compliance expectations. This behavior will be seen in communications and interactions with others. The maintenance group services site & area needs; interactions and teamwork should reflect that. Decisions will be made without compromise to site and corporate integrity.

Role: EH&S System Participant

Responsibility: Provide individual leadership and support team in achieving EH&S excellence

Expectations:
  • Conform to the plant environmental, health, and safety requirements, accepting the responsibility and accountability for personal safety and the safety of others. Identify all workplace hazards and take action to mitigate the same.
  • Zero injuries
  • Actively participate in the SOAR process by identifying “unsafe behaviors” and develop action plans to eliminate.
  • Execute the Safe Work Permit process flawlessly for:
    • Confined Space
    • Hot Work
    • Energy Control (LOTO)
    • Personal Protective Equipment
    • Fall Protection

Role: Routine Maintenance participant

Responsibilities: Perform all requested maintenance work within the guidelines of the Routine Maintenance work process.

Expectations:
  • Discover and troubleshoot problems with equipment and systems - Enter quality work notifications for problems discovered.
  • Documentation of work information
  • Documentation of time against work orders
  • Documentation of work activities as history
  • Confirmation of completed work orders
  • Document Root Cause Analysis on equipment failures and faults.
  • Documentation of “deviation from schedule” codes
  • Repair and maintain equipment systems (in accordance with manufacturer’s specification and RAGAGEP) using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments to support the Routine Maintenance Work Process
  • Perform self-planned maintenance.
  • Identify material needs for self-planned work.
  • Complete work as outlined in job package using SAP shop papers and equipment procedures as required.
  • Complete feedback information for continuous improvement by completing a Maintenance Job Evaluation (MJE).
  • Perform quality repairs such that “rework” is not required.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment system problems.
  • Assist in identifying needed “preventive maintenance” actions as uncovered by observation, inspections, testing, or monitoring.
Maintenance Employee:
  • Complete work assigned timely, efficiently as specified. Keep supervisor informed of job delays/increased cost/issues/require additional work or concerns as they occur.
  • Communicate effectively with your customers; foster teamwork, cooperation and positive work relationships.
  • Work overtime or call-in time as required.
  • Rotating shift coverage as required.
  • Improve and maintain housekeeping in shop and on your jobs.
  • Learn more about plant equipment you are not familiar with. Work in other areas as assigned to learn additional areas of plant site and help other areas as needed and assigned. Participate in project/teams as assigned. Show interest in learning all you can about a task. Adapt to changes as need arises.
  • Schedule time off in advance as possible
  • Look for ways to reduce repair costs.
  • Participate and respond in the duty rotation requirements.
  • Write notifications as needed.
  • Improve details and completion of SAP order confirmations.
  • Share experience/knowledge and train fellow craftsmen/employees.


Daily Activities:
  • Report to work on time.
  • SAFETY IS ALWAYS FIRST.
  • Follow all plant procedures.
  • Focus on work related tasks.
  • Obtain work instruction and print out JSA.
  • Read JSA and add any addition if needed.
  • All jobs require SWP. Follow SWP process.
  • Clean up area where job is being performed.
  • Put time in SAP with detailed info of job. CNF if complete.
  • At the end of the day inform the planner of job status.
  • Clean up all shops and break rooms daily.


Responsibilities:
  • Support management /company to ensure that the management system is established, implemented, maintained, and updated.

Expectations:
  • Ensure all quality and food safety standards are being met by following all applicable procedures set forth by the company, including prerequisite programs (PRPs), quality / food safety procedures, areas procedures, operational prerequisite programs (OPRPs), etc.
  • Report any quality concerns to Management or Quality Management immediately.
  • Report any food safety concerns (e.g. chemical contamination, leaks, pests, etc.) with food grade products to Management, the Food Safety Team or your Food Safety Team Leader immediately.
  • Conduct and maintain a hygienic work area to prevent possible contamination of food grade products.
