Qualifications

Required

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair ammonia industrial refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, electrical, and micro compressor control systems
  • Working knowledge of screw compressors, electrical troubleshooting of common types of ammonia refrigeration systems, and control alarm systems
  • Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings
  • Ability to read and interpret ammonia refrigeration manuals, documents, and drawings
  • Ability to work unsupervised or with limited instruction
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive ammonia refrigeration experience
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
  • Physically capable of climbing ladders, high elevations, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Available to travel up to 25%
  • Available to be on call nights and weekend as required
  • Basic computer skills for documentation
