- Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures, and governing requirements
Qualifications
Required
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair ammonia industrial refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, electrical, and micro compressor control systems
- Working knowledge of screw compressors, electrical troubleshooting of common types of ammonia refrigeration systems, and control alarm systems
- Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings
- Ability to read and interpret ammonia refrigeration manuals, documents, and drawings
- Ability to work unsupervised or with limited instruction
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive ammonia refrigeration experience
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Physically capable of climbing ladders, high elevations, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Available to travel up to 25%
- Available to be on call nights and weekend as required
- Basic computer skills for documentation
