Position: Emergency Department Clinical Pharmacist

Location: Seattle, WA

Start-date: ASAP

Duties:

  • The emergency medicine pharmacist participates in patient care decisions, drug therapy consultations, and collaboration with the ED health care delivery team.
  • Evaluates all drug therapy for appropriate indications, dosage, drug interactions, contraindications and drug allergies
  • Monitors the patients pharmacotherapeutic regimen for effectiveness and adverse drug effects; and intervene as needed.
  • Serves as the drug information expert to the emergency department.

Requirements: WA licensed pharmacist, 1 2 years + of inpatient/clinical/infusion experience, FT availability starting ASAP, good attitude and people skills

Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD. Residency is a plus!

pensation: Starts at $85/hour.
