The Emergency Department Clinical Pharmacist at a Seattle teaching hospital will work within one of Seattle's busiest ED departments at a Level I Trauma Center. Position: Emergency Department Clinical Pharmacist
Location: Seattle, WA
Start-date: ASAP
Duties:
- The emergency medicine pharmacist participates in patient care decisions, drug therapy consultations, and collaboration with the ED health care delivery team.
- Evaluates all drug therapy for appropriate indications, dosage, drug interactions, contraindications and drug allergies
- Monitors the patients pharmacotherapeutic regimen for effectiveness and adverse drug effects; and intervene as needed.
- Serves as the drug information expert to the emergency department.
Requirements: WA licensed pharmacist, 1 2 years + of inpatient/clinical/infusion experience, FT availability starting ASAP, good attitude and people skills
Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD. Residency is a plus!
pensation: Starts at $85/hour.
