Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related health care field.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • RN license required.
  • 10+ years experience in the home care industry.
  • Leadership or management experience preferred.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to learn and utilize multiple LAS platforms.
  • Knowledge of the home care industry, licensure, and accreditation.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong team-building skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships with franchisees.
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and complete work within deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers and business associates.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programs and projects.
  • Establish, promote, and implement strategies that will enhance the care and services that Visiting Angels franchise owners provide to their clients and employees.
  • Work with the operations team to Identify franchisees’ needs.
  • Develop relationships with franchisees through dedicated time primarily through telephone phone calls and virtual meetings.
  • Create new and innovative ways to improve education that aligns with the values of the company.
  • Evaluate the use of current technology for program enhancements.
  • Work cooperatively with the marketing team to review and evaluate resources.
  • Maintain customer service standards and resolution of issues.
  • Conduct webinars and presentations at regional meetings, and business builders and needed.
  • Attend annual conferences.
  • Assist with vetting process for new vendors as needed.
  • Collaborate with existing business partners to evaluate their products and offer input as requested.
  • Collaborate with writers as coordinated by the home office marketing team. Review blogs, website articles, and other written and video content prior to posting to national website.
  • Review any materials as requested by the marketing team.
  • Conduct franchise office process review as warranted.
  • Assist with questions related to non-medical model of care.
  • Assist new franchisees with licensure application process as deemed appropriate.
  • Assist franchisees with licensure plan of correction as requested.
  • Assist with licensure resources for new territories.
  • Review scope of services as allowed per state licensure.
  • Assist with evaluation of specialty programs offered through third party vendors.
  • Provide consultation to franchisees regarding their responsibility for state licensure during the resale process.

REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or other related health care field; master’s degree is a plus.
  • RN license required.
  • 10 + years significant experience in the home care industry; leadership or management experience is preferred.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) applications.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Remote position working from home office.
  • Up to 15% travel required. This may vary depending on business needs.
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull items weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform tasks involving a combination of sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stooping, walking, twisting, and climbing stairs.
  • Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that enable these senses to function adequately to meet the requirements of this position fully.
